Life, a journey
A life-long journey
Beginning with an end
Beginning of the end!!!
Walk the way
With care
Stage by stage
Step by step
Among the people
Along the way
Be with some
Together we move
Munching memories
Shouldering sorrows
Miles to go
Mind, to move
Heart, to halt
What to do?
Wait a minute.
Stop by the listening tree
Chat with her
Sitting at resting-stone
Relax a while.
Sit.
Chat.
Relax.
Refresh.
Renew the walk.
Miles to go……
Walk the way
Tired, exhausted?
Say No to fume and fury
Next-stop ahead……
Sit by the listening tree
Chat.
Relax.
Refresh.
Renew the walk…….
Till reach the goal……….

Cloudy Future
I went
All alone
Along the street
Among the crowd….
A distant speech
Disturbed my ears
A politician boo-booing
‘Children, future pillars of India’
People around
Clapped aloud
Confused me, mused
‘Am I the future pillar?’
I approached a palmist
Attest the future
My exposed palm
Electrified the creature.
His curious eyes
Google-searched for life-line
My scarred palm
Scared the palmist.
Peeping pain of my palms
Petrified him
Puzzled palmist, questioned,
‘Who are you?’
‘I, cracker-maker at Sivakasi
Beedi roller at Andhra Pradesh
Carpet weaver at Utter Pradesh
Rag picker at Metros
Table-boy at tea-stalls
Sex-worker at G.B Road
Different roles with one identity’
Was my answer.
Amazed palmist
Mused then
‘India at sixty
Future pillars with no dignity’
‘Future’ moves ahead
All alone
Along the street
Among the crowd……….

Voice of the Voiceless
We have father and mother
Else what is our origin?
Ask not who are they?
We know not.
We have brothers and sisters
All are abandoned ones
Our cradles are dustbins
Music of vehicle, lullaby
Platforms are our whereabouts
Warm welcome to everyone
Cold or heat, no difference
Peace of heart, our preference!!!
If at all, we meet our parents
Ask we not why they did so
Surely we do ask them
Whom they thought, care for us???
If answer is God, well and good
We know someone cares for us
If that is God
We thank Him/Her wholeheartedly.

Cry of the modern Children
If I were a dog,
My parents would have cared for me
If I were a newspaper,
My parents would have read me
If I were a car,
My parents would have driven me carefully
If I were a television,
They would have spent a lot of time with me
If I were money,
They would have worked for me
If I were a mobile,
They would have spoken to me often
If I were a MP3 player,
They would have listen to me
If I were a nightclub,
They would have visited me daily
If I were a pair of shoes,
They would have cleansed me
If I were a joke,
They would have smiled at me
……………………………
Is it my mistake? I am their child..
A maid is everything for me……

difference??????
Jeans at Tank Road
@ 300/- per piece
Same with a brand name at Big Bazar
@ 1200/- per piece
Where is the difference?
Is ‘Where’ the difference?
Poor child sing/play instruments
In the bus, train or road side
They’re called beggars
Someone stage/reality show
Called a singer or musician
Where/who is the difference?
Is ‘who’ the difference?
A destitute with torn clothes
On the street
Considered prostitute/immoral
Some sashay the ramp
With bits and pieces
Considered models….
Where /Who is the difference?
Is ‘Who’ the difference?
One hour bargain for one rupee
With rickshawwala, sabjiwala, etc.,
Double the amount at malls
No bargain, No problem of fixed price
Where/who is the difference?
Is ‘who’ the difference?

Honey, Money-minded world!!!!!
Everything @ Rs. ($)
It is rightly said,
“I received bribe
They arrested me
I gave bribe
They released me”
Honey, Money-minded world!!!!!
