the rose of the desert......

“I am a rose in the desert living among cactus
Surrounded by the boiling sand.
The cactus asks me now and then;
‘Are you happy over here?’
Amen, is my answer.
But she says,
‘No, you cannot be serious
See, you are aloof
Your kith and kin are somewhere
Happy and glee, why are you here?’
Your master is partial, isn’t he?
Absolutely not
He who created me know
Where to keep me”.
‘What a pity’, she says,
‘Your petals are charred by the scorching sun-and
Branches broken by stormy winds”
It convinces me with much logic and I tell her,
“My friend, you only look at my sad plight,
I have but a different view point;
I am charred and broken but
The fragrance of mine passes through the wilderness
The sands breathe my fragrance and praise my creator.
Many passengers pass by
And none look at you with wonder
But their heart well up to praise my master
When they see me living in the desert.
My master knows where to keep me
And I bloom where I am planted.
I die, that is not the matter
My master is praised
That’s all what matters.”

cactus should be more jealous...u r a rose with thorns as well..so if the animals want to eat u or travelers wanna pluck u they would fail to do it ...instead would hurt themselves.;)
